An effective corporate management system means better control and strategic planning, reducing operational risks and litigation. Aiming at rapid integration into the world economy, the Republic of Azerbaijan is also establishing corporate governance institutions to increase the international competitiveness of local companies. Significant steps are already being taken towards the implementation of overall corporate governance in state-owned enterprises. In this article, the author examines the issue of corporate governance in corporate governance and makes suggestions for the development of this field in our country.
