The article was analyzed “Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for socio-economic development”. The tasks arising from this document and facing the transport system have been clarified. The author researched transportation and environmental issues. In the article “Azerbaijan 2030: National Priorities for socio-economic development”, the concept of sustainable development and the development prospects of the transport system based on the analysis of the current situation were proposed. According to the author, improvement of infrastructure provision, ensuring the operation of regional transport hubs along international transport corridors, formation of a joint virtual space of carriers and customers, mechanization of loading and unloading operations in order to improve transit services, development of warehousing can be considered as the development prospects of the transport system in our country. At the end of the article, the prospects of the Zangezur corridor are considered, and it is stated that the victory achieved in the 44-days war of the Motherland further increased the transport capabilities of Azerbaijan.
