The article examines the importance of ensuring sustainable development and various aspects of achieving sustainable development. In this context, it is determined as a result of the analysis of statistical indicators in the article that the level of development of industrial enterprises leads to macroeconomic stability in Azerbaijan and thus sustainable development trends. In order to see the impact on the sustainable economic development of the country in more detail, the composition of industrial enterprises according to the type of ownership, as well as according to the scale, is analyzed in the article. The role of industry in the inclusive development of developed countries and the study of its possible effects are also reflected in the article. At the end, relevant results from the research are summarized.
