The article discusses the factors influencing investment activity in the national economy. The formation of investment resources in Azerbaijan and the impact on it of the volume of oil revenues were also studied. In particular, the prospects for changes in the volume of national savings were assessed. Here, in the medium term, the dynamics of both government savings and savings of the corporate sector and households was studied. There are also proposals to increase investment activity. These proposals mainly include interest rate cuts, tax breaks and risk reduction.
